The workshop brought together experts from the ministry, regional health bureaus, universities, implementing and development partners to assess the current landscape of implementation research, identify key stakeholders, and develop collaborative strategies to strengthen evidence-based healthcare practices.

Participants engaged in rich discussions following a presentation on key findings from the scoping review and qualitative study conducted by CDHi-UoG team. These studies explored the challenges, opportunities, and future directions in implementation research in Ethiopia.

As a result, the workshop produced a comprehensive mapping of active IR stakeholders, facilitated a shared understanding of Ethiopia’s implementation research landscape, and outlined actionable strategies to enhance coordinated efforts in evidence based decision making in the health system.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all facilitators and participants whose expertise and active engagement made this workshop a success.
