2016
Founded by Prof. Binyam Tilahun
A Center of Excellence established through collaboration between the Federal Ministry of Health of Ethiopia and the University of Gondar.
We exist to develop, adapt, and evaluate digital health technologies that strengthen the Ministry's information revolution agenda.
The Center for Digital Health and Implementation Sciences (CDHI) is a Center of Excellence in Digital Health and Implementation Science. From the beginning, the vision was clear: build a local institution capable of creating evidence-based interventions that work in Ethiopian health systems—and scale them with rigor.
Over the past decade, CDHI has grown into a national and regional hub for digital health and implementation science. Today we collaborate with more than 40 partners worldwide and draw on a multidisciplinary team of over 60 professionals—spanning health systems, digital health, implementation science, software development, public health, medicine, epidemiology, and data science.
