Center for Digital Health and Implementation Science at the University of Gondar Scholars Embark on Prestigious Exchange Program in Europe
CDHi, Addis Ababa – August 13, 2024 โ CDHi at the University of Gondar is thrilled to share that Berhanu Fikadie and Shegaw Marie, two of our distinguished members, have embarked on a prestigious six-month exchange program in Europe.
On August 12, 2024, a send-off ceremony was held for Berhanu Fikadie, a senior PhD candidate, and Shegaw Marie, a final-year Masterโs student, hosted by staff from the Addis Ababa CDHi office and Professor Shegaw A. Mengiste from the NURTURE project. Berhanu and Shegaw will be continuing their doctoral research and Master’s studies, respectively, at universities in Europe. This opportunity is part of the NURTURE project aimed at enhancing higher education through international academic collaboration.
We are eager to see the new experiences and insights Berhanu and Shegaw will gain during their time in Europe. Although they will be greatly missed at CDHi, we look forward to their return and the contributions they will bring back to our institution. We wish them a rewarding and successful academic journey. Safe travels and best of luck!
