Data management capacity building training for female HIS workers
As part of its commitment to gender inclusiveness, CDHi- Center for Digital Health and Implementation Sciencei) is focused on empowering female health professionals working in Health Information Systems (HIS). In line with this goal, the University of Gondar’s CBMP+ project recently conducted a successful data management capacity-building training for female HIS workers from August 19-21, 2024.
The training session brought together female Health Information Technicians (HITs) and case team leaders from selected health facilities participating in the project. A total of 13 participants attended the training, which was designed to enhance their skills and empower them in their roles within HIS activities at primary healthcare units.
