Aiming to disseminate the findings of our National Immunization Program Evaluation, a significant workshop was recently held in Addis Ababa. This event marked a crucial milestone where key insights into Ethiopia’s immunization efforts were shared.
Conducted in collaboration with esteemed colleagues from CBMP universities and the Federal Ministry of Health Ethiopia, our study comprehensively assessed various aspects of Ethiopia’s immunization program. We examined Leadership & Management, Service Delivery, Coverage, Supply Chain integrity, AFEI management, VPD surveillance, Demand Generation, and Monitoring & Evaluation mechanisms.
This collaborative effort not only underscores the dedication of all involved but also represents a pivotal moment in our collective journey toward enhancing public health outcomes. By synthesizing this wealth of data, our aim is to translate evidence into actionable steps that will strengthen Ethiopia’s immunization efforts.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to the investigators whose diligence brought this study to fruition, the CBMP universities for their invaluable partnership, and every individual who contributed to this vital work. Together, we remain steadfast in our commitment to ensuring that every child in Ethiopia receives the life-saving vaccinations they deserve.
