Today, CDHi- Center for Digital Health and Implementation Science at the University of Gondar, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health Ethiopia, Afar Regional Health Bureau, and Samara University, launched the ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐

๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐พ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ at Samera, Afar Region.
The CBMP will be implemented based on the survey results and aims to provide technical support by creating selected model woredas in the region.
This initiative will also contribute to the digitalization of the health information system, offer practical health science experience to Samara University students, and build the capacity of health professionals.
During the workshop, the results of the CBMP survey conducted in selected woredas of the region were presented, and potential proposals for further action were discussed.
Attendees included Mr. Mesoud Mohammed, Strategic Affairs Executive Office, Ministry of Health Ethiopia/Statistics and Information Lead; Dr. Binyam Tilahun, PhD,MPH,FIAHSI, Vice President of the University of Gondar and CDHi Director; Dr. Desalegne Mengesha Degefaw, Country Director at The Ohio State University Global One Health – Ethiopia and Samara University board member; all vice presidents of Samara University; as well as woreda representatives.
The event concluded with the signing of a MoU between the four institutions.
