Masresha Derese is a lecturer of health informatics in department of health informatics, Institute of Public Health at the University of Gondar, since 2017.
Masresha completed his undergraduate and Master’s degree at the University of Gondar in public health informatics. In June 2021, he graduated with a master’s degree in public health informatics from the University of Gondar. He has more than 6 years of experience working as a researcher, instructor, and public health expert at the department of health informatics.
Masresha has been working on initiatives involving the implementation of electronic medical record system and the interoperability of digital health systems for the past two years as a member of the eHealth Lab team. He has also done research projects linked to these projects.
Masresha has published more than 15 peer-reviewed papers. His areas of interest include digital health systems, Telemedicine, Mobile Health, Machine Learning, and Secondary Analysis.
