Kaleab Nigusse is a Physician, Health Informatics Professional, and Senior Graphics Designer affiliated with the Center for Digital Health and Implementation Science (CDHi), where he serves as Digital Health Expert and Communications & Advocacy Lead. He earned his BSc in Health Informatics from the University of Gondar, his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Dire Dawa University, and is currently pursuing an MSc in Data Science at Addis Ababa University.
His career uniquely integrates clinical medicine, digital health, and visual communication, with professional experience across hospitals, research institutions, and international organizations. He has served as a Health Informatics Professional at Addis Ababa University, a Graphic Designer at the Ethiopian Public Health Institute and eHealth Lab Ethiopia, and advanced healthcare communication as a Digital Content Creator and Social Media Manager at Central City Hospital and Eastern Hospital. His international experience as a Graphiste at Alliance Française further enriches his multidisciplinary expertise.
Kaleab’s research interests include telemedicine, clinical informatics, and medical illustration. He is fluent in English and French, both of which are official working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
