Awareness creation training on gender based violence for community leaders was given with three rounds at ten woredas in Amhara region by University of Gondar in collaboration with WHO
The objective of the training was to create awareness for community leaders to prevent gender based violence at community level, to improve gender based violence identification and reporting to health facilities and other stakeholdersParticipants were from religious leaders, civic society representatives, women’s association and disability associations and a total of 83 community representatives were trained with three rounds
