The Center for Digital Health Implementation Science (CDHi) a Center of Excellence in Health Informatics, was established in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health and the University of Gondar to develop/adopt, evaluate, and support the implementation of innovative health information technologies in the health sector. The center will also conduct embedded research on health information technologies and Health system strengthening to facilitate the achievement of the information revolution agenda in the country. Center of Digital Health Implementation Science We believe that the future depends on innovation and creativity, and our team Conducts cutting-edge research in health information systems in collaboration with different national and international partners. We also train Health informatics professionals from bachelor's to PhD for sustainable capacity building in health information systems in the country. In our training programs, we strive to make our students capable of thinking outside of the box to be able to solve complex problems through practical, multidisciplinary, and hands-on training and field experiences. We promote crosscutting initiatives with other disciplines including Computer Science, Public Health, Medicine, and Engineering. Our students and faculty have access to the most up-to-date knowledge, tools, and skills for working on large-scale health informatics projects with unrestricted access to the University of Gondar Specialized Hospital and high-tech ICT facility access at the university ICT Directorate.
