The Ohio State University Global One Health initiative (#GOHi), in collaboration with the CDHi- Center for Digital Health and Implementation Science at the University of Gondar and Jembi Health Systems, successfully completed its online course on Health Information Systems Project Management (HIS PM) on today July 26, 2024.
Running from July 22 to 26, 2024, this course brought together participants from around the globe, focusing on enhancing the management of digital health interventions. The program emphasized the importance of improved documentation and effective project management skills, enabling participants to apply these techniques to real-world HIS projects.
Utilizing the HIS PM Toolkit, which includes adaptable templates, checklists, and training materials, the course guided participants through iterative planning, design, and development processes. This approach ensures that project outcomes align with stakeholder and user needs.
The course was designed for new and mid-level project managers working in digital health systems, equipping them with essential skills to advance their projects successfully.
The interactive nature of the course fostered an engaging learning environment, with participants actively contributing to discussions and collaborative activities, enriching their understanding of project management in digital health systems.
