We are thrilled to share an exciting milestone in the journey of Smartguidelines implementation in Ethiopia!
Recently, Prof. Binyam Tilahun, PhD,MPH,FIAHSI and our CDHi- Center for Digital Health and Implementation Science team participated in a significant meeting with Dr. Mekdes Daba Feyssa, MD, MPH (Minister of health), Dr. Maramawit Asfaw (RMNCH Director), the Digital Health Directorate team, and World Health Organization representatives from both HQ and Ethiopia.
The discussion highlighted the progress of the WHO DAKs Implementation Research, a groundbreaking initiative launched under the Ministry of Health’s leadership. This research has been instrumental in customizing WHO’s generic guidelines to align with Ethiopia’s national standards.
