𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭-𝟐 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 : 𝐂𝐨-𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩

From October 30 to November 12, 2024 – CDHi- Center for Digital Health and Implementation Science at the University of Gondar , in partnership with ThinkPlace’s Ethiopia Data Use Partnership (DUP) Stream-2 project, conducted a facility-level co-design session at Gondar, St. Gebriel and Maraki health centers. This session focused on building upon lessons learned from the first sprint of prototype testing.
The primary goal was to build lessons and refine prototypes for the Test Sprint 2 by engaging health facility staff directly in the process. The session included facility observation, interviews, active discussions with service providers and facility leaders, reflections on the outcomes of Test Sprint 1. Insights and evidence were generated and synthesized, ensuring an informed co-design and refinement of prototypes for Sprint 2 implementation.
At the conclusion, at each health centers prototypes were optimized for the next testing phase, with staff demonstrating their commitment by signing a “commitment board”—one of the behavioural prototypes selected. This enthusiastic participation underscored the team’s readiness and motivation to implement the prototypes in the coming phase.
