The Center for Digital Health and Implementation Science (CDHi), in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Digital Health Activity (DHA), hosted an Interoperability Review Workshop on September 30, 2024, at Mazeki Hotel, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The workshop covered key topics, including the National Interoperability Academy, the Ethiopian Digital Interoperability Network (EDHIN), various interoperability use cases, and implementation experiences at UoG Hospital. Guidelines for implementing interoperability and preliminary results from Ethiopia’s interoperability efforts were also discussed.
The workshop brought together technical and program-level digital health experts from the Ministry of Health and partners such as DHA, the Ethiopia Data Use Partnership (DUP), HABTech Solutions, and universities engaged in the Capacity Building and Mentorship Program (CBMP).
The workshop provided fruitful discussions, valuable suggestions, and actionable feedback. offering new insights to advance interoperability academy its implementation.
