We are thrilled to announce that Professor Binyam Tilahun, PhD,MPH,FIAHSI has been awarded the prestigious title of 𝐅𝐔𝐋𝐋 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐅𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐎𝐑 of Digital Health and Implementation Science by the University of Gondar!
Professor Binyam’s illustrious journey includes:
🔹 Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of British Columbia, Canada
🔹 Research Associate and PhD Fellow at the University of Münster, Germany
🔹 Master’s studies through the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Program jointly conducted in Spain, Portugal, and Germany
His extensive work in Europe and North America has enriched our community with invaluable knowledge and experience.
As a distinguished teacher, researcher, and leader, Professor Binyam has:
🏅 Advised numerous Master’s and Doctoral students
🏅 Received national and international recognitions, including Fellow of the International Academy of Health Sciences Informatics
🏅 Successfully implemented projects with over 20 global institutions, including World Health Organization, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Africa CDC, USAID, Doris Duke Foundation, European Union, JSI, and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Through his expertise in ‘Digital Health and Implementation Science’, Professor Binyam has significantly contributed as the 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 & 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 of the CDHi- Center for Digital Health and Implementation Science at University of Gondar, authoring 150⁺ publications.
In his role as Vice President of Research and Community Service at the University of Gondar, he is committed to:
