𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐩 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒

Last week, the Global Digital Health Forum (GDHF) brought together innovators, leaders, and organizations from around the world to Nairobi, Kenya, from December 4–6, 2024. We’re grateful to have been part of this impactful gathering focused on advancing digital health, especially in low- and middle-income countries.

Our team at CDHi- Center for Digital Health and Implementation Science led by our center director Prof. Binyam Tilahun, PhD,MPH,FIAHSI actively participated, sharing our experiences, learning from global perspectives, and contributing to discussions shaping the future of digital health.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐝:

🌟 Digital Transformation in Africa: Progress across countries is accelerating, offering valuable lessons for our work.
🌟 AI and Interoperability: Key themes included standardization and AI, with a focus on building reliable health solutions.
🌟 WHO Smart Guidelines: Countries are embracing this approach to standardize health systems; Ethiopia shared its lessons on DAKs IR.
🌟 Ethiopia’s advancements in digital health were widely recognized, highlighting contributions from the Ministry of Health and local partners.

A special recognition to our CDHi team Prof Binyam Tilahun, PhD,MPH,FIAHSI, Admas Abera, Dr. Tesfahun Melese Yilma, Dr. Amare Tariku and Betelhem Abebe Andargie who participated in various sessions, contributed to panel discussions, and brought valuable insights back to further our mission in digital health. and to whom organized this amazing event
